Hi there! This is Chichimaro.
It took me a little longer this time.
When I first came up with the idea, I thought, “Hey, this might be fun,” but once I actually started drawing it, it ended up taking way more work than I expected. 😅
So in the end, I think it turned into one of those pieces that makes you say, “Well yeah, of course it took time!” 😅😅😅
(And naturally, it’s always those pieces that end up getting so-so ratings… 🥹)
Putting aside whether it’s something you can actually jerk off to or not,
I present to you: “This is Japanese Hospitality!!”
Please enjoy the Sacred Chinpō Mikoshi!
I might be getting a little hyper from being tired from all the work. 😆😆😆
※
“Chinpō Mikosh(珍宝神輿)” is a wordplay in Japanese.
mikoshi (portable shrine)
“珍宝 (chinpō)” literally means “rare treasure,” but it also sounds almost identical to “chinpō,” a slang term for the male organ.
So the title intentionally carries both meanings at once — a sacred portable shrine and a cheeky penis pun.
“Wasshoi!” is a traditional chant shouted during Japanese festivals while carrying a mikoshi (portable shrine).
It doesn’t have a direct translation, but it works like an energetic rallying cry — similar to “Heave-ho!” or “Let’s go!” during festive celebrations.
いかがでしょうか?
