October Update
Added 2021-10-12 15:10:28 +0000 UTCTis the Season to be spooky and I have somehow managed to do absolutely nothing spooky or even creepy! It's a darn shame and a crime against monsters is what it is but sadly there's little time to rectify it.
This month has been a busy one as the Apawthecaria Kickstarter has been taking most of my attention and getting The Dig sorted out as taken the rest. The DELVE Quests expansion is still coming along but is having to wait while I get the Backerkit for Tooth & Claw sorted out. Maybe the scariness is all the form filling, paperwork, and spending?
Apart from all that, I don't have much to report since my last post.
The Dig should be here next week at which point I'll sort out the pre-orders and put it up for general sale.
Apawthecaria continues on until the 29th and we're discussing stretch goals just now with my most requested one being a settlement inspired by Wallaby Island.
And I'm trying to determine what my next Zinequest outing will be. So far it's a toss up, in order of how much I'd like to do them of:
1) A sci-fi travel game where you learn about the other alien species of the galaxy in the same vein as Becky Chamber's Wayfarers series. Seriously, go read A Long Way To A Small Angry Planet, it is an amazing book and a balm for the soul.
2) 80 Days inspired travelling journal game where you explore a world riddled with conspiracies, cryptids, and other such weirdness.
3) A solo tactics game inspired by T-DEF by Lari Assmuth which uses the incredibly grim setting from my wip ROT. Angels, Demons, X-Com style character progression and some exceptionally difficult choices.
4) A non-solo RPG inspired by Gravity Falls. Completely breaking the mould here :O
The good thing is that with the continuing support on Patreon, we're nearly at the point where I can start putting games like these out more frequently so maybe it doesn't matter which one I choose as I can get round to the other ones in time.
What would you lot like to see? Maybe that might help me decide :)

3 sounds interesting, but I would also be interested to see what kind of mechanics a multi-player rpg made by you would use.

2021-10-12 17:59:29 +0000 UTCRecord of a Spaceborn Few was by far my favourite of the Wayfarers books, but it's kind of different to Angry Planet. Fortunately that whole series was great. I'm sure your concepts are distinct, but this does seem to overlap a lot with the 80 Days game from the literal single sentence you've posted about each. T-DEF was cool as hell.
