2025-09-30 03:44:15 +0000 UTCtowards the end of the movie when the wizard tells Dorothy he is also from Kansas was a lie as the balloon says "Omaha" and Omaha is in Nebraska not Kansas. he lied to her to get her to trust him more as he is a con man, which is also shown in the beginning when he is conning her as the fortune teller when he goes through her basket to pretend he knows what he is talking about.
