Toy story 3 horrified me as a kid. I still remember tearing my eyes away from the incinerator scene to look at my little brother's pale face, he did not speak after that movie. I wish my mum had taken us to see Tinkerbelle like she originally planed and we had left TS3 until I was older. I have re-watched several toy story movies, but never 3.

I always felt the same way about the scent of skunk spray- slightly nostalgic and not too unpleasant... then I (unavoidably) hit a skunk on a very narrow road near the country. After my initial feeling absolutely terrible about it, I realized why skunks spray and how effective it really is to ward off predators. Caldwell’s description of an up-close-and-personal skunk spray is extremely accurate. And my car smelled like it for weeks. Even on the inside! 🤢

When my mom was a kid, she lived out in the wild country of south Texas, and she found out there was a litter of skunks under her house without a mom. My uncle crawled under and got the skunks for her, and she tried to take care of them - but she was a kid. She ended up with just one. So my mom had a pet skunk named Stinky that would ride on her shoulder under her hair. She also had a pet deer. Honestly, my mom was a straight up disney princess.

Caldwell is 100% correct on actual skunk smell. Growing up my dog killed a skunk right under my bedroom and I woke up thinking the house was on fire and choking. Terrible burnt chemical smell.
