Her narrative tone is incredibly engaging, and keeping everything on rails in what is an intrinsically rowdy setup, seemlessly switching the tone and reigning things in when necessary shows a great deal of skill. I had a feeling this mini campaign would be great fun a mere few sentences into session zero, and it's more than living up to expectations!

2020-08-21 23:59:19 +0000 UTCHey, just wanted to let you guys know that “golem” originates from stories about constructs created by rabbis to protect Jewish communities in times of crisis, and while I know it’s used generically in lots of official dnd material, it feels really weird/uncomfortable to hear it used divorced from context and especially in reference to villains when they’re meant to be creatures of protection. Assumed you didn’t know and just wanted to point it out! LOVED this episode and can’t wait to see what happens next
