Added 2020-12-11 17:50:16 +0000 UTCVolume Five of in the series 'Who Endures' was completed this morning and sent for beta reading on discord at approximately 2:30 a.m. eastern standard time. My thanks to those of you who have supported this project, it is because of your support that I was able to cut back overtime hours enough to increase my daily output and complete chapters much, much faster than I otherwise could have.
Next up: Who Endures: The Red City
Volume Six in the 'Who Endures' series.
A look at the plot ahead:
Queen Vexia's plans for the destruction of the House of Aiwenor, gathering the corpses of powerful living beings to facilitate her plans. The Starwatcher temples, horrified by the open heresy of the Red City, a reborn Komestra, turn their eyes toward open war, with many calling for war against the city...
However the best laid plans of mice and men, may often go awry, and the forethought of the House of Aiwenor threatens their ability to wage war...
While the seeds of war sprout into a bloody harvest in the Tlalmok Empire as battle lines are drawn... until certain leaders, eager to avoid civil war, choose to make decisions on rulership through the act of a 'Great Harvest' where two cities are selected for annihilation, sending shockwaves of horror and alarm throughout Mict'aratz.
In the great steppes, bloody Vargas brings the first stage of his plans to fruition, aiming to destroy a most unfavorable centaur coalition not through war, but through cunning.
Isaura and Taen bring all their machinations to bear, and at the center of it all, the force behind the foundations of an empire must convince the horrified city states that united they may stand, but divided, they 'will' fall. Unfortunately forgetting... that some prefer the latter.
All this and more lies ahead as we move past the halfway point. I hope you're with me to the end.
