DnD Box!

I have been a little quieter than usual this past week but this was a big one for sure! A lot of test prints and just as the last part was printing for final confirmation that everything was going to fit, I get a clogged nozzle! Luckily it had printed enough that I could get what I needed from it.

This is a support free all in one Dungeons and Dragons box with space to hold your current campaign mini, your favourite dice, some pens, a slot to prop up your phone and of course the included dice tower!

On top of all that you have the choice to customize your box with the class your have decided be and I'm assuming for the enclosed mini. You have 13 different class badges to choose from that can go on both the outside of the box and on the dice tower. Even if you're not a fan of customizing with your current class or the ornamental accents on the lid, you can go the plain route and just have the wood textured versions.

Also in case you are wondering the top ornaments print separately from the lid and are just glued into the recesses, and same goes for the class badges.

More models coming very soon, just need to prep them for print now that this one is off my list!

Filament used on the pictured box was GratKit Coextrusion Black and Purple if you were curious.

Im a member but im having the hardest time figureing out how to access this model

Allen Benjamen Franklin

I put a little bit of petroleum jelly on the edges of mine and it slides really well. Also, that size difference makes sense considering the bottom box has those corner ornaments that the lid doesn't.

Rebecca Thibault

I was finding the LID to be a very tight fit, went back into the slicer to find out it's not the same dimensions as the box. The BOX is 214.01x213.81 and the LID is 210.85x210

Just got all the parts done πŸ”₯ 3 issues I'm running into are the logos dont sit low enough in the tower to allow the tower to fit in the closed box, the logos are slightly not small enough to fit inside the circles on the box and tower, and the tower lid is crazy tight. I'm printing on my p1s which has done great for other tolerances but I might need to look into some tests and calibration.

StarlightFoundry

Yep, definitely. Everyone from my DnD group have already asked for one. 😁

Ian Hotchin

Ya I think it was about 15-16 hours on the bambu. Worth the wait I think!

Mike Hammond

Just to warn everyone it is a LONG print. Have done the base part and also some of the lid design bits so far and must say I think it will be amazing when its finished. Doing the Tower and Lid parts now.

Ian Hotchin

No worries!!! Thanks for fixing it so fast πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

StarlightFoundry

Should be all good now! Sorry about that

Mike Hammond

The ones in the dice tower class version folder are the ones that are huge. They aren't scaled down. There is only the one set of logos. Not two sets.

StarlightFoundry

Me too!!

Mike Hammond

We’ve had snow since last night here!

Mike Hammond

In the folder with the tower there are the scaled discs for the tower

Mike Hammond

The best thing ever!!

Catrina Payne

what size do we need to scale the logos down to to get them to fit on the tower? all the ones in that folder are scaled for the main box

StarlightFoundry

Dude!! This is awesome!!

James Blaine

This looks amazing. Guess what my next print is about to be hehe.

Ian Hotchin

Holy crap this was well worth the wait!!!!! Absolutely love it

StarlightFoundry

OMG I love it

SkysThLimit
