Progress Report

Hi all.

tldr: dev today, stable in 2 weeks.

I'm spending a lot of time with old savegames compatibility. A lot of bugs also arise from using old saves. Prepare for a restart for the v0.8 update! After that you're safe for a long time if not forever.

Upcoming poll
Need some new cosplay characters. I'm thinking X-men(more like x-women).
Some fine characters there. If you think x-men are meh and want to push your favorite franchise drop a comment and if it gets enough likes, I'll reconsider.

You better know who those two are. Travesty they weren't in from the start.

Retirement

Rewritten. No more fixed date on which they'll retire. Trying to do a more "realistic" system.
Now the progress bar rises each day and the amount depends on different factors.
If they're happy, rich, famous, regularly cast in scenes and so on, the timer will progress slower.

Some math. Skip if you don't care.
Final value is 1000, base daily gain is +5. So it's around 200 days to reach the retirement.
Full happiness + full fame can get the number down to +1/day, so 1000 days. More than enough.
If you don't include her in the scenes, number can ruse pretty quickly. I think this is ok, since if you're not using the the model then you probably don't need her.
Some events will straight up deduct a number from final value. So can prolong the career just by being cool.

Thinking of including even more factors to influence the process.

Relationships

Not in its final form but it's a start. You can call anyone to your office by right clicking their name and then picking from list of actions(in dev version stick to calling women).
Just your typical dating sim stuff. Gift, talk, drink, date and so on...
New options will unlock as you progress and eventually you can end up as BF/GF. Nothing is changed there, some bonuses, full chemistry and so on.

Game is not and never will be a "real" dating sim, but we can start slowly expanding on this.
Like trait related actions for example.
Or jealousy. Although here we have to be careful. Nothing could make you happier than few jealous chicks crashing your empire.

Corruption

So many request for this for what seems like years now. Well, here you go. A rather disappointing and basic system to transform your favorite makeup artist into a pstar. Raise the relationship high enough, ask them to try out a photoshoot and make bolder requests as you progress. Don't expect too much, it's more of a mechanic than some grandiose 200 page story of corruption. Also every girl will do it for now. I might restrict some based on their traits and so on.

BDSM

Or fetish things in general.  I still don't have a sex dungeon background but it's coming soon. Until then beautiful heavily filtered stock photo lol.

I've added a lot of items in the game. Whips, candles, paddles, chains, ...  Many of them unusable cause Godot physics don't want to cooperate and it's making me fucking rage. I've spent a lot of time making chains, ropes and whips for them to not work when instanced in the scene. It will not be in vain. I'll make them work if it's the last thing I do.

You can toggle blindfolds and gags during the scene. There are new BDSM related outfits and a shibari one.

There's also some pegging and golden shower animations.

Also completely flat breasts. I know someone is lobbying for that for some time now.

Some UI changes

I've been exposing some data to make things more clearer.
Like with amateur shooting you can see chemistry scores, addiction penalties and so on.
A lot of times you wondered from where this stupid happiness penalties are coming from. Well now you'll know.

I've also exposed stat checks in conversations, RPG style. I personally don't like it, but it's sort of a norm in games with skill checks.

Drugs

If a model is addicted and you don't have the substance in your stash when shooting with them, it's a happiness penalty.

Mechanic for daily auto taking drugs from your stash is disabled. Only exception are models you promised free drugs during casting interview. If they don't get it there's going to be some bad events and reputation hits.

Do use them yourself (in game) to boost happiness. The most useless drugs are probably the best.

Special p...stars (can't use the word or we're flagged by trust and safety team)

I've made few p...stars for rivals. Some with new, some with old assets. While they don't have any special lines, I'm thinking of making them. Just to add more flavor and make them more unique. They'll also poses good traits and high fame so they're worth snatching.

Probably forgetting something, but that's how it is in this chaos.
