Fearless TV (Part 2)

Fearless TV (Part 2)

Comments

Let the Vault Tracks marinate awhile. I think you'll come to love them

Tinwhistle

I'm so glad to hear love for "That's When". How can anyone think this isn't one of her greatest collaborations. I love the song and Keith sounds so good here.

Tinwhistle

What Richard said 🫶

Tinwhistle

Sorry to disagree, but I love The Fearless Vault. You All Over Me, Mr. Perfectly Fine, and That's When are highlights. They totally fit the Fearless vibe and stand on their own.

Tinwhistle

Great react guys, I just noticed that you are missing some videos from youtube, at least I think the Speaknow one is not here :( I would love to see the uncut version of it if you could load it here!

Marie Barquero

They have, it’s on their YouTube channel

Keren Nputu

Fun fact, Taylor was also in the movie Valentine's Day for a cameo!

Shanice Nowak

The vault songs were songs that were cut or unreleased, or even unfinished from the original albums. Releasing them now is a marketing strategy to make us buy the Taylor’s version album, they are not necessarily great songs, the great vault songs are specific songs that have had a reason not to be released at that time, specially the ones that didn’t match her “good girl” persona at the time. The other ones, let’s be honest, are not that great

Gabrielladid

GUYS!!! if you’re interested in dua lipa at royal albert hall, PLEASE react to RAYE’s royal albert hall performance! massive orchestra, choir and RAYE’s ridiculous voice!!! i will literally pay for a custom video at this point 😭😭😭😭

Kayla Deyo

Again, the standard album and the deluxe songs were on the original album and the vault songs were written back then but recorded now. The vault are a special bonus for fans to have bonus content for the rerecordings.

Richard

Have you guys reacted to Evermore and I just can’t find it?

Kelly S

Yeah Fearless vault is probably the weakest so far…. and that’s probably why she re-recorded Fearless first. But she know hype need to build upgrades not downgrades 😬

levine Jiang

A little surprised you didn't do the Taylor Tiny Desk, since it was Lover Tracks!

Bulmaro Lazarin

The vault songs are just as great as the others. I love every Taylor song equally. I am an OG fan from debut.

Richard

Ikr? The on,y reason I can think of was that she didn’t wanna do it without Keith Urban and it just didn’t work out…

Eirini

I think collectively the fandom agrees that the Fearless vault tracks are the weakest (it’s evident even in this comment section)… they are not bad songs by any stretch, but the original album is just soooo good! I do love You all over me though, and Today was a fairytale was one of my favourites at the time (lol Taylor herself was in the Valentine’s Day movie)

Eirini

Love y'all saying "That's When" is one of the best vault tracks. It's my favorite. It is one of the very few songs she didn't perform as surprise songs on the Tour and I have no clue why

Cam

you guys have to watch her rendition of we are never ever getting back together from the 1989 tour she does a rock version and it’s insane

rebecca pierce

Yess, she only went to Tiny desk once during the Lover era (so 2019)

Zoya

She puts the vault tracks on TV to give fans an incentive to buy the re-recordings. She can’t just release the same album, swifties are unfortunately demanding 😭😂

Sarah

I’d lose my mind for more folk/acoustic Taylor songs. My absolute faves!!

Sarah

I finally had the chance to finish this video up! As an OG Swiftie, I tend to agree with a lot of the vault tracks, but understand why it was done. I see it as marketing so people would want to come back revisit the re-records. They aren’t terrible songs but not ones that I want to listen to over and over again like the majority of her collection.

Meghan Hameister

Did she only go on once?

Michael

Michael

👀

Michael

It absolutely is, I think that will be our next video :)

Michael

Thank you for checking out the Patreon! glad you enjoyed

Michael

The Other Side of the Door outro makes it one of my favorite Taylor songs, so fun! This album is so nostalgic overall, thanks for the reaction.

Storm

Yeah unfortunately fearless has my least fav vault tracks. I've had so much fun on this journey with you! So excited for debut and whatever else is to come 🤗

April Green

I agree, the vault tracks on Fearless are definitely her weakest vault tracks. Just to clarify, she’s including them at the end of her Taylor's Version albums because they were written during the same time period. Releasing them as a separate EP would feel odd, especially since knowing she was 18 when she wrote these songs gives them more context. I think it's important for her story that we know songs like "Mr. Perfectly Fine" or "You All Over Me" were written when she was young; it really completes that chapter of her life. But I agree— the first 13 songs on the album are the main project, and everything else is just bonus material.

Kristin Kirtz

You need to react to Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay, it’s probably the best album of the year.

Benjamin Pugliese

Yes I agree with this! We all have loved it for so long and I think it would be fun for them to see the differences!

Mary M

I'd love to see you react to her other tours

tolfo

yeah most of us agree with you about the fearless vault tracks i think. it was her first re-recording and i think the vault tracks on the other tv albums feel more finished

emmy

yall should listen to debut before it becomes TV. so you can be hyped as well to see how different it will sound because her voice is SO young in debut. Also, some of those songs she wrote in NINTH grade😭

noelle

I have always felt so alone with not liking mr perfectly fine and I feel so validated rn so thank you

Mary M

Its so funny to me that Taylor just sent keith urban the song while he was at a food court in a mall and he just sat down listening to her unreleased music there😭 and then he went to the studio and recorded his verses

noelle

yesss the untouchable cover always shocks me

Anna

So the original artist for Untouchable gave Taylor writing credits on the song after her cover because she changed it so much and they liked it so much.

Caitlin Green

Please please do her Tiny Desk 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Caitlin Green

So Mr. Perfectly Fine wasn't fine after all....😂 While that's my favorite vault track off of Fearless (I can't resist teenage pettiness!), I do think the vault tracks on this album are her weakest, especially when you compare them to the vault tracks from 1989, Speak Now, & Red. I can't wait for y'all to react to her debut album! It has a special place in my heart & it's VERY country lol

Sophia Sanchez

Taylor is contracted to direct a full length film sometime soon, now that the tour has wrapped up…the girl doesn’t quit! I don’t know how she does it.

Meghan Hameister

Superstar was my jam as a 14 year old obsessed with the Jonas brothers 😂

Mary M

Fearless was her first album of the year at the Grammys !!

Laurasr618

Yeah the vault tracks WERE written at the time of fearless and just didn’t make the cut (most for good reason lol)

Laurasr618

Vault songs were written for their albums but she didn't like them enough so they were scrapped, and when she started doing re-recordings she pulled some of those songs from the fearless era that were written but never recorded and added them so we would still get something new when we buy the Taylor's Version album, but I agree that they make the album too long for no reason and imo they were scrapped for a good reason the first time😬

tom_j

im so glad yall read about untouchable being a cover while you were still reacting to the album omg. yall reactions to it being a cover was amazing.😭💀

noelle

the wound was too fresh hahaha

Michael

LMAO i guess i couldve waited a little bit before sending the mashup video oops

noelle

Thank you guys so much!!! 💛
