Bimbofication Rework (Alpha 0.2)

One of the most common types of transformations that can occur in Quests of Change is Bimbofication, causing a character to lose much of their brainpower while gaining an exaggerated female form. There are varying degrees of Bimbofication that can transpire based on the potency of the cause. Some types of Bimbofication may provide additional effects or make the process of undoing the transformation more difficult. 

The rules regarding Bimbofication are being restructured in order to better facilitate different types of transformation while better matching the mechanics of the game as we move forward with development.

Stages of Bimbofication

When a character is subjected to a Bimbofying effect, the effect specifies how many stages of bimbofication the target will advance. As long as a creature has at least one stage of Bimbofication, they are considered a Bimbo. Unless specified otherwise, Stages of Bimbofication may be removed one at a time via a ritual of purification.

If a creature has 1-2 stages of Bimbofication, they are considered a Lesser Bimbo. If a creature has any 3 or greater stages of bimbofication, they are considered a greater bimbo. Unless specified by a specific ability, a character is considered completely Bimbofied if they reach five stages of Bimbofication, meaning they can't be further affected by Bimbofying abilities.

When a creature is subjected to a Bimbofying effect, they gain one stage of Bimbofication and gain a corresponding effect. If an ability would provide several stages of Bimbofication, the target gains the corresponding effect for each stage gained.

Stage One Bimbofication:

- You gain one effect chosen at random from the Lesser Bimbo Chart and one personality trait from the Bimbo Personality Trait Chart.

Stage Two Bimbofication:

- Both of your proportions increase by one size category and your gain one effect chosen at random from the Lesser Bimbo Chart.

Stage Three Bimbofication:

- You gain one effect chosen at random from the Greater Bimbo Chart and one personality trait from the Bimbo Personality Trait Chart. Additionally, upon reaching this stage you become female. Discuss with your GM if this is a change of identity, a physical change, or both.

Stage Four Bimbofication:

- Both of your proportions increase by one size category and your gain one effect chosen at random from the Greater Bimbo Chart.

Stage Five Bimbofication:

- You gain one effect chosen at random from the Greater Bimbo Chart, one of your non-Bimbo personality traits chosen at random is replaced with a Bimbo Personality trait chosen at random, your Mind, Resolve, and Knowledge are each reduced by -3, and your Utility Stats are replaced with Bimbo Stats:

Awareness becomes Fashion Sense. This stat is used for makeup and clothing proficiency.

Diplomacy becomes Seduction. This stat is used to attract and seduce others with your charm.

Knowledge becomes Sexuality. This stat is used for sexual knowledge and proficiency.

Physicality becomes Grace. This stat is used for activities such as dancing and modeling.

Subtlety becomes Gossip. This stat is now used to communicate with other Bimbos.

If you would use a stat you no longer have such as knowledge, you add +0 to the roll.

Lesser Bimbo Chart

When afflicted with the early stages of Bimbofication, creatures may be subjected to any of the following effects chosen at random or by the GM.

1. Bimbo Speech: Your dialect becomes that of a Bimbo. You frequently use the word "like," prefer words with few syllables, and affectionately refer to things you view positively as "hot." If a creature hears you speak, it can immediately identify you as a bimbo.

2. Glamor Girl: You are incredibly skilled at applying makeup to yourself, but feel uncomfortable without it on your face. You are skilled at applying makeup to yourself and others. If you of a another Bimbo is wearing makeup you applied, they add +3 to all rolls made to seduce or persaude others. However, when not wearing makeup, your discomfort imposes a -2 penalty on each of your utility stats

3. Shopaholic: You absolutely love shopping and can't help but go on shopping sprees. When purchasing items, you cannot buy less than three items from a given vendor (unless they have less than three items to sell). However, you have a knack for gauging the price of clothing, and know the approximate price of clothing and armor simply by looking at it.

4. Delightfully Dim: While you may not be the brightest, it adds to your loveable charm. Your Mind and Knowledge are each reduced by -3. However, your Diplomacy increases by +5.

5. Fashion Conscious: You are incredibly conscious about the outfits and clothing you wear and know all about clothes. With one day's worth of downtime and access to applicable materials, you can craft up to three Designer Outfits. However, while not wearing feminine clothing, each of your combat stats is reduced by -1.

6. Girl Talk: You love chatting with other Bimbos and girls. When interacting with female characters, add +1 to all rolls that utilize utility stats. Additionally, add an additional +2 to that roll of the girl is a Bimbo. However, reduce the result of all non-seduction utility stat rolls when interacting with men by -2.

Greater Bimbo Chart

1. Blonde-Brained: Your hair becomes platinum blonde, your intellect is reduced significantly, and your head is a somewhat vacant space. Your Mind and Knowledge are each halved (round down). However, this substantial reduction of your mind makes you completely immune to psychic damage.

2. Fashion Icon: Your Bimbofication causes clothes your wear to be magically transformed into Designer Outfits. However, while wearing Designer Outfits, add +3 to all rolls to seduce others and all rolls to interact with other Bimbos.

3. Mind-Numbing Gossip: You're notably dumb and can talk seemingly endlessly about nothing. While your Mind and Knowledge are each reduced by -2, if a creature listens to you speak for up to a minute, you can cause their mind and knowledge to be reduced by -2 for the next hour.

4. Cleavage Adept: You know how to handle your own body, especially your sizable bust. While you don't have a third hand worth of actions, you can treat your cleavage as a third hand with which you can hold items. You can choose to have this item not appear visible while held this way.

5. Bimbo Besties: You naturally get along wonderfully with other Bimbos just like you. You get +1 Defense and +1 Resolve for each other Bimbo within 3 spaces of you. However, you are naturally trusting of other Bimbos and automatically believe what they tell you, regardless of how dumb it may be.

6. Air-headed Charm: While you may be a natural when it comes to seduction, you can't help but fall for the seductive tactics of others. If you would use an effect that would charm a creature, the target reduced -5 from any resolve rolls they would make. However, you reduce all resolve rolls against the charmed and hypnotized conditions by -5.

Bimbo Personality Chart

1. Cliquey: You find yourself following the trends of other Bimbos and can't help but want to spend time with other airheads. When faced with choices or when forming opinions, if there are any other Bimbos present, you are compelled to agree with them rather than non-Bimbos.

2. Submissive: You love being told what to do and find yourself attracted to dominant figures. You cannot make diplomacy rolls in order to intimidate others. Additionally, if you are given a verbal command that doesn't directly put you in harms way by a creature of the Dominant class or with the Dominant personality trait, you must roll 1d8, adding your resolve. If the total is less than the commanding creature's mind, you are compelled to spend your next turn carrying out the command.

3. Basic Bitch: You're something of a conformist and could easily be mistaken for other run of the mill Bimbos. When within the presence of at least two other Bimbos, your mannerisms and tastes conform to that of other Bimbos. As long as each creature within 5 spaces of you is a Bimbo, each of your non-Bimbo personality traits is temporarily suppressed.

4. Chatterbox: You love to talk and gab about any and everything and often can't help yourself. Whenever you've been in a conversation for over a minute, you must roll 1d6, adding your resolve. If the total is 12 or less, you are compelled to share one secret you know.

5. Promiscuous: You love to show your skin and flaunt your body. While wearing clothes or armor that isn't overtly revealing or proactive, your movement is reduced by -1 and your speed is reduced by -2.

6. Pink-Addict: You absolutely love the color pink. If given the option, all of yoru clothes and belongings would be in different shades of pink. As long as you're equipped with any equipment that isn't at least partially pink, your resolve is reduced by -3.
