another WIP and update on comics

Hey animal people, It's been a while since I've said a word.

I've been working on this little thingy you see above. I've been doing non-stop alcohol bottle drawing and coloring, and honestly... ... I thought it would've taken me far less time than it actually did, and it is still not over.

Anyways I'm just touching base to update you a little bit with my work.

WHY NO COMICS??!!

Ok... so, last Pixeas and Henry episode took me two weeks on the making and learning new tools to paint the night sky. Inking is harder than it looks. And to be honest I did feel bummed a little about the people's response, I don't think the exposure I got was what I deserved in exchange of my work (in that specific episode) but it got me thinking...

... Why?

As an outsider Pixeas and Henry doesn't look that attractive at first sight since it is uncolored and its fully ink and shading, also too much text.
not meaning it's bad, it just doesn't catch a fly in the 3-second-glance-attention-span of the average twitter user.

So... ... yeah that's the main reason I'm doing this specific piece, POKEMONS IN A BAR! recognizeable characters! colorful art! lots of detail! I believe this will catch the eye of the public, and people sticking around me have far more odds on reading the comic over a passerby internaut.

What I mean with this is that, Pixeas and Henry IS my priority number one. I want to tell the story, I believe its good and the amazing people I've met through publishing it is plenty... ... But I need to find a balance between catching new public and continuing the story for already-readers.

as soon as I finish this piece I will continue the comic immediatly.

so the first CAMEO is coming for citizen of aposdale tier, in two more episodes, for those who lend me your characters you'll (most likely, not guaranteed) see them soon.

also I'll be working on a second comic also placed in Aposdale, and I hope publishing it by the end of this year.
