Romanโs got me bad!!! Vic and Ric, my loves , always so happy to draw something with them and I thought this pose was just perfect for them. Also I love love love big subby Vicus, itโs just immensely sweet. Heโs not rly a himbo because heโs not dim, heโs more like a big puppy who Rictus treats with devotion and opulence.
Now that itโs getting warmer again I think itโs quite clear to myself anyway that my paintings often reflect this. I was scrolling through all my paintings of the last.. year, so from now till March-ish 2021 and all the seasons more or less lined up. Bright and colorful for spring and summer, dark, gloomy and muted for autumn and winter.
Iโm really happy to be painting lush foliage again, the next few pieces will probably have more of that! (I made a sketch which is SO gay and SO sweet, Iโm really looking forward to it)
Also I tried a new way of painting the leaves of the bush, because there were just SO many of them, and I found this works really well for me! Defined but lineless mostly. Itโs fun figuring out where I can keep it vague and what I want detailed!!
