Silksong is almost here! I'm not gonna pretend I just whipped up this insane piano arrangement of Hornet out of nowhere, I have been working on this for the last 4 months and the timing just worked out. Team Cherry had 7 years and they just chose a release date that aligned perfectly ^_^

Hornet is one of the most challenging arrangements found in the Hollow Knight Piano Collections by ‪@MateriaCollective‬ and it plays very similar to the actual boss fight in the game: Always keeping you on your toes, or fingers in this case, with barely a moment to catch your breath. Christopher Larkin's unrelenting rhythm and David Peacock's infatuation with extremely challenging arpeggios and flares demand incredible speed and precision, which makes this piece a true test of my technical abilities. At times you can probably tell that I'm hitting my limits, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

For this video I decided to try out something new: The difficulty gauge. This is just my personal experience with this piece, highlighting the sections that took me the longest to drill. I hope it's more helpful than distracting. Let me know in the comments.
