The controversial thing that no one wants to admit about 127 is that they are trendsetters and started the whole sound that most 4th gen are known for. That's why they were never as succesful as previous SM boygroups, because ever since The 7th Sense and Cherry Bomb, the sound was so new and different, even compared to western music. Everyone called it noise music and a few years later you have Stray Kids, Aespa etc. basically every 4th or 5th gen group going for that exact sound :) You should listen to Jaehyuns solo album at some point, it's one of the best albums ever released in K-pop
