Ray shattered his mask, leaving his life as the vigilante Blaze behind. The first panels and the last ones are great because you can see Asuka, Summer, and even Morales acknowledge Ray as ready to be a hero by recognizing his mistakes as a vigilante and being willing to prove himself worthy to serve.
