Death meets black cat

Even in 2019, you still hear of black cats being associated with superstitions, witches, black magic and such. Black shelter pets are less likely to be adopted than pets of other colors. They still face so much hate nowadays and the more I read about this topic, the sadder I get.

I think this was the comic that introduced me to your work. I appreciate the emotion in your comics - it comes across very naturally. I adopted a senior black cat a few years ago... didn't have much time with him, unfortunately, before he passed, but if I can do my own part in helping older kitties and hard-to-adopt ones find homes, then I'm happy to do so. My senior lady is now almost 19 and I've had her for 9 years now. She's had two full lives and I wouldn't change anything. <3 My tuxie is 15 now (also adopted as a senior). They annoy each other, but hey... cats. Am I right? :)
