Usually we picture small races like hobbits or gnomes as friendly, but I wanted some mean ones.
These rat-humanoids bring a dark, gritty edge to our Trench Warfare Compendium
With three distinct lineages: Skullrip, Shadowtail, and Sewerstride, you can customize and play to your favorite tune, be it:
Stealth and subterfuge
Dark, morally ambiguous characters
Urban adventures and war settings
Whisperkin is my idea of a twist on small-sized races, with abilities that make them formidable spies, assassins, or brutal killers.
