Background - War Veteran (Adjusted for both 5e and 5.5e)

Today a new background which focuses on war.
I listened to your feedback and decided to provide content for both 5e and 5.5e, and tried to make the PDF as understandable as possible
5.5e adds ASIs from backgrounds as opposed to races (now called species), as well as give an origin feat—something weaker than a normal feat, and which cannot give an ASI.
5e on the other hand has a more passive approach to backgrounds, They give a ribbon feature, and tables to roll the character's personality.
I'm personally a big fan of the tables, as I find that they help with character creation, so I kept them in for both.
TL;DR:
For 5e ignore the feat (wartorn) and ASIs
For 5.5e ignore ribbon feature (veteran's honor).

It will depend on the release date of Steins 2, and the popularity of both versions of the game. Even offering both versions is reasonable as 5.5 is very very close to 5e.

2024-09-26 21:01:41 +0000 UTCFor the Steinhardts kickstarter, one of the stretch goals was a sneak peak to book 2 alpha. Will that be 5e, fully 5.5e, or mixed 5e and 5.5e like with this background?
