The Ritual of Derketo diorama - WIP

I have to admit that I've overcommitted myself again, because I've started another diorama that will take much longer than I planned. In addition to the altar, the diorama will also contain 5-6 figures whose bodies I have almost finished, but not yet dressed.

So it looks like I won't be able to finish it before the end of the month. But of course this model will still be this month's release and will be sent to everyone who subscribes this month.

A few words about the diorama. It will be called The Ritual of Derketo. Derketo was a fertility goddess in ancient times, but I admit I don't care about historical accuracy here, so this will be more of a fantasy scene. This is a pagan goddess with features that go back even further (you can see that the altar has statues that resemble the Venus of Willendorf).

The reason I am telling you this is that I am planning to develop this idea further and this cult will also be the subject of other models and dioramas. I think it will be interesting to see how the dioramas and models will be loosely connected and tell a more complex back story.
