You will die get away from me

I am toxic delirium. Get away from me.

Hello

I am toxic

Fifteen should have the name .

Father mother sister brother

Yeah, I didn't think that on the first read, but looking back on it I think that would be one of my favorite responses. "Wow, that's certainly an uncommon name. Now is that spelled out verbally, or two digits?"

That One Guy

Shadow Stevens and America's top 40?

Mr. Blue

"Fifteen" is an awfully strange name. I'm surprised they didn't call her on that.

Thormation

I hear that in my head like she's announcing her age the way my kid does. I'm fifteen and a half!

Coy Keaton

There's a part of me that thinks they backed off only because answering "what's your shadow's name" as "I'm fifteen" immediately comes off as defensive. Granted, we can't hear the inflections in the question being asked, so we don't know if it's more "how are you doing?" or more "how YOU doin'?" Either way, if I was in that situation and someone replied with their age instead of their name, I'd either wonder if they were okay (I might expect a child to announce their age if they just had a birthday, not a young adult) or were expecting me to be inappropriate, and I just wouldn't want to even give them the chance to think it because I don't want the drama.

Erik Bell

Sergeant General of Castration?

Smart boys.

When I was 15 I was built similarly to Pumpkin/Ellie... I hung out at the bowling alley on base pretty regularly... and this would often be the reactions I got when I told people how old I was. If it wasn't, it usually was after I told them who my dad was.

It's a bit over the top, but then again, as a single guy, I have modified my behavior at times to avoid people getting the wrong idea in that regard. So excessive and clumsy, but it could happen. Especially when Pumpkin's statement was explicitly a clarification that she's underage. While Pumpkin wouldn't be that excessive, they don't know her.

That One Guy

Dudes are fast movers...

Mo in Atlanta

That's... pretty funny. I'll be damned if I'm not considering that.

lol. That was just a cameo.

Where did Daria go?

Michael Darnell

HAH! You really do have a gift for this sort of comedy.

Sabrina Pandora

BLARGH! Layer didn't carry over. That's actually just the carpet layer showing through since there's nothing there.

I'm pretty sure I would react the same way. (Also, Pumpkins pants change colour in the last panel.)

James is more than likely in the dark. Richard however, knows what seems to be going on, because he seems to be quite able to read between the lines.

Mr. Blue

EXTREME ZOOM OUT!!!

Mr. Blue

Yes, a much better reaction. Although, considering the litigious stereotypes associated and perpetrated against men, I'm not sure that they're actions are... while they may be over the top, I suppose that it's better than standing next to her while saying things that Kat would take inappropriately. But then, who'd think that she'd be in there.

Mr. Blue

I keep thinking of that old Grover routine from Sesame Street. Near.... Far....

It's been a while since we've seen those dudes. Wonder how they've been? On a slightly unrelated note, didn't James have a crush on Quinn? Has Ian told James about Quinn's attraction to him? Or is James in the dark about that?

Nicholas Stephenson

In the next panel he's outside with talking with a megaphone.

aimlessfreak

Absolutely brilliant! I needed that!

I know right.

Goood gooood

lol

This made both me and Owen laugh hard. Good stuff hahaha

Why can I only Like this one once?

hunter2

Well that is ccertainly a better reaction compared to "I'm not hearing a no"!
