First, I apologise for not answering all the reviews of the previous not-teaser; the writing process swallowed me, courtesy of that perfidious muse.
I promise I will come to it as soon as I have the time...which will likely not be today, alas.
But to reward you for you patience, here is a second not-teaser (11,000 words-long this time).

Huh, is the Inquisition really going to be ok with Wei becoming "transhuman"? Especially when the "Trans" part is of Eldar origin... Ah well, I guess so long as Taylor is a Saint, and the Custodes don't kick up a fuss, Taylor gets to set the rules. There's also that one General the Inquisition has condemned, that has a Custodes minder, to keep him "un-executed". Ah yesm he was the supreme commander at Cadia, during the 5th Black Crusade, iirc. So, "fortuitously", the QoB has deigned to grace the Arena with her presence, it seems she's aware of when people of import were discussing her. It will be interesting to learn what she is willing to say about the Guardians.
