Yes, it was. While a Black Witch is near-certainly a Dark Witch, the former is sworn to a Dark Power and being one is illegal in a large majority of the ICW-affiliated nations. The latter isn't, as long as you aren't recognised guilty of any crimes.

Alexandra is already a Lernean Hydra, like the one Heracles fought. She just hasn't full control yet, and must limit to partial transfigurations of her body now. But there's no upgrades when one is an Animagus. Once you're one, you're one, and that is all there is to know.

I wonder if Alexandra will one day get a fancy mythological hydra upgrade, although I couldn't find the name of the hydra herculeas fought. Can't think of any other famous hydras. Maybe a medusa?

I believe the wasn't should be a was, because else she would be terribly interested by what Dumbledore and co have to say, but alas she typically doesn't listen to them or their ramblings all that much. And just one line later when her father answers " will use to user in a new era of darkness" should be a "will use to usher in a new era of darkness".
