Weaver Option Update 04 October 2020

Here is the new update. I won't say it is a teaser, because it's 19000 words-long, and that's a bit big for a teaser.

While I am unsure when exactly I will finish the chapter, it should be less than one week away now.

Enjoy!

Thank you for the preview! I am very impressed with Cardinal Palatine Jean-Luc de Plessis' intelligence network and organizational ability. Back in the first interlude a mere 30 hours after the Mark of Commorragh he already had found enough information on Nyx, Atlantis and St. Weaver to predict accurately what giving St. Weaver access to part of the Atlantis diocese would mean since he was planning then to eventually give her the whole diocese.

Nicholas

If Szarekh truly wanted to be aware of Trazyn's actions, he would have never left the galaxy. Making sure Trazyn doesn't enter the Szarekhan vault is a full-time job.

Antony444

Let's it say bluntly, Trazyn doesn't appear in the rest of Ovation 9.1. Apart visiting his new collection, I fear a POV of him wouldn't bring anything new...

Antony444

I agree but slightly worried the silent king has left protocols to keep himself somewhat aware of what Mr. T has stolen. That said the butler could actually not be happy with being left out on this adventure this time around.

Forgottenone

I kind of really want to see more of trayzyn celebrating his newly expanded collection... it is really hilarious

Regan

Well, when you have the resources and the contracts of the Ecclesiarchy, the Mechanicus, the Guard, the Navy and some, you really can afford to build big...

Antony444

The new planned shipyard Ferrus' Revenge is absolutely massive! It must be 100 km wide to accommodate so many drydocks. Taylor certainly knows the meaning of 'building tall'.

y

Not a bad description...and some are more successful than others.

Antony444

It was mentioned in Interlude 2, essentially most of the sons of Dorn's assets gathered at Pavia and several other Battlefleets of the different Adeptuses.

Antony444

Well now looks like everyone's busy adjusting to there new reality or taking advantage of it!

Confused

what forces have assembled to attack Biel-Tan?

Mackenzie Buckle

Nice try, but there are more than a few Ice Worlds in the entire Imperium...

Antony444

Ok, I think we have a good idea where 'Operation Stalingrad' is going to end up happening. Templars trapped facing billions of enemies on an Ice World? That practically SCREAMS Mother Russia. I am enjoying how everything's moving along, despite the issues they're running into. I wonder how the Atlantis Sector Lord is going to enjoy explaining to his ultimate superiors about his lousy memory. seems a good reason to relieve him of the burdens of his position, no? Regardless, I'm already looking forward to the impending bloodbath of 'Warrior' Long-Ears to come, as the carnage should be an EXCELLANT hint to the rest of their race that deliberately engaging Taylor can have long term consequences beyond her crushing your armies beneath her ever-growing Swarm........

Dale

Just saying, you might not like at all when Taylor meets for the first time the other Chapters of the First Founding we haven't seen yet (Ultramarines and Raven Guard are not included in that list), and the Space Wolves are no exception...

Antony444

It probably would've been somewhat harder if the consequences of Commorragh hadn't crippled their engines and therefore their ability to move and hide. As is, a well deserved purging is in the offing!

Paul McDonnell

So it took less that two months for Biel-Tan Crusade to find Craftworld... and that including Travel. It was not soi well hidden I'd say. Peace loving Xenos a nice... Imperium should keep them contained but once Tau appear unleach them! To watch epic Peace vs. Greater Good debate! Taylor should increase number of Navigator on Enterprise, because I suspect this travel won't unque case. Atlantis Cardinal is doing a very good job at digging his grave, while happy Mecanicus are doing more and more Mecanicus things.

Boris Michenski

It’s the principle of the thing, plus space puppies! Just saying. ps great job.

Ted min

The Biel-Tan battle will happen later this chapter, so Taylor will have planned for little in this, save the great amount of reinforcements given to the sons of Dorn.

Antony444

"IF YOU DAMNED FURRIES HADN'T TRADED OUR STRIKE CRUISER TO THE FUCKING MAGPIES FOR THOSE STUPID WOLF-SHAPED DESTROYERS I COULD HAVE BEEN AT THAT BATTLE. EMPEROR FORBID I EVER GET TO ACTUALLY KILL SOMETHING EVERY OTHER CENTURY....... FUCK IT, I'M GOING BACK TO BED. WAKE ME IF THERE'S A FIGHT, IF LEMAN RUSS SHOWS UP OR IF THOSE SORORITAS TWINS EVER COME BACK."

MehOhWell

You're welcome.

Antony444

And here to say I originally planned to post it by noon...you would have been soundly asleep.

Antony444

Space puppies not invited to one of the greatest battles in imperial history, what are their thoughts, Bjorn’s especially.

Ted min

Well, the 30 minutes of sleep I lost to read this were well worth it. I like all of the infrastructure and manufacturing planning that's been laid out and I can't wait to see what obscenely versatile and powerful armies come to being as a result. I'm also wondering how involved Weaver will be with the Templar's little venture to voice their 'disagreements' with the knife-ears and if the time-frame of the operation will allow the inclusion of any of the newly planned chapters.

MehOhWell

Just woke up and this update came in, thank you Antony for helping start my day on this great note.

Claudiu

You have the worst timing you know, I QUITE LITERALLY just turned off my light. Its1:35 am here I’ll have you know and I can’t just put this off. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. More constructive feedback coming soon
