Elfsong Tavern - Baldur's Gate - Descent into Avernus (All Tiers)

Elfsong Tavern. A well-known and popular tavern in the city of Baldur's Gate. The tavern gets its name from the haunting, ghostly elven voice periodically heard singing in the tavern. Catering to all, regardless of repute or circumstance.

Kicking off a new adventure! And keeping the tradition alive of starting a new adventure mapping in a tavern! Hell awaits!

A slow start to new maps this month as I put a lot of time into crafting new assets, textures, roofs, and more to make sure I give Baldur's Gate a distinct feel from my Waterdeep content. I drew a lot of inspiration from BG3, at times as detailed as the pattern on the rugs in the main taproom.

Map Notes. Again drawing from BG3 and trying to set Baldur's Gate apart from Waterdeep, the streets are narrow, and you won't find carts or buggies moving up and down the hilly streets of BG. Elfsong Tavern is set at the end of a block so I added a large patio area around the tavern. The main floor and second level are as close as described while the new clay tiled roof assets gives the area a feel befitting its southern location on the Sword Coast.

There are day and night variants of the map available.

Files.  The zip files below are organized in 4 folders: Roll20Free for smaller 70px images; Roll20Paid for larger 140px images; FoundryVTT for 100px dd2vtt files compatible with multiple VTTs; and Printable which are 140px gridded images in color and black and white. Foundry VTT files include _LEVELS_ images for use with the Levels module.

There won't be BG (background) and TP (transparent) versions of the files this time around as (hopefully) we won't be stitching together any mega dungeons for a while!
