Foundry VTT Module - Dungeon of the Mad Mage - Level 1-23 (v1.0)

The module of the Mad Mage is complete! Use the link below to get the manifest URL or update directly within Foundry.

v1.0 of the module is being released as a paid post to reflect the hours of module building that went into this update.  All patrons will be charged their membership amounts for this release (if you aren't at your monthly limit).

Inventor+ patrons can update directly within Foundry VTT or get the manifest URL from this post.

Adventurer + Mapmaker patrons - I'll be back to regular content next release!  If you are really unhappy about being charged for this post, reach out (Patreon messages or Discord) and we can figure something out <3.

What format are you looking for specifically? There are individual files for each level in universal vtt format (.dd2vtt) that are available to all tiers. If you are looking to actually open up dungeondraft and export your own files, you’d need a mapmaker subscription for access.

Sorry if this is covered somewhere and I missed it. I joined the Patreon to get access to these maps. If I need to upgrade to Inventor+, I'm fine with that, but I want to make sure that I can get the maps in an exportable format that I can use in Fantasy Grounds, as that is the VTT our group uses. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi John - it's linked from the post above (you'll need to be an Inventor patron to access). It uses a manifest URL to install the module - just copy and paste the url into foundry and it will do the rest!

Ian

Hello. I am trying to find the link that lets me download the Foundry VTT module where I was told all of your maps have walls and lighting already setup for the Dugeon of the Mad Mage campaign. Where can I get that module?

John D

Man i feel bad i missed the finale of DOTMM post haha, been a crazy busy month but just going through my posts that have built up. Hat's off my friend this is such a huge accomplishment. Every inch of a mega-dungeon performance friendly and true to what the supplement outlines, with all the "more" hooks to carry on. Bravo!

Dan Gragert

Oh my bad! Scene Packer and MATT are required (+libWrapper as a sub-dependency); and then I recommend installing Universal Battlemap Importer at the same time if you want to or need to add other dd2vtt files. The final recommendation I just added is Monk's Scene Navigation as there are a LOT of scenes now and it cleans it up nicely.

Ian

Sorry can't see the post; that's why I'm asking here so that I understand the requirements of using it. :-)

teleports use MATT. the linked post (here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/81031156) has the other dependent or recommended modules. Tagger isn't one of them

Ian

Are the teleports using MATT? If so, any other dependent modules? Such as Tagger?

Ryan Rogers

Only the chunked versions, with teleports set up.

Ian

Does the module have the mega-map versions? Or only the chunked versions? Or both?
