Destiny - Vault of Glass [32x52] - OC (All Tiers)

Something a little different for content for this release - a Destiny video game encounter and map, ready for D&D.  Never played Destiny? Hopefully at the very least you will get a cool map out of it even if you completely ignore the mechanics that I tried to recreate for D&D.  Full warning - my description might be very confusing if you aren't familiar with Destiny and this raid.  

This is the Vault of Glass - the Templar's Well (the Oracles encounter).  The basic premise is players will need to destroy orbs of light as they appear (the oracles).  There will be some enemies around who will try to stop that from happening.  And if they don't destroy them in time, ALL the players get "marked" and have to go down to the cleansing plate in the middle of the map or risk taking some damage.  If they successfully destroy the oracles, the shimmering barrier dissipates and they get the loot.  Simple right?

Map Notes. There are 2 variants of this map - one with a loot room at the end (as shown above) and a second that adds a hallway/door off the top edge if you want to include this as a through passage somewhere in your game.  

Files. I've included some extra files in this release.  First is a map guide - kind of like the DM Overlays I typically include but to help you orient yourself to where things happen if your memory of the raid is a little hazy (or non-existent).  You'll also find an encounter guide - which is my best attempt at laying out mechanics for running the Destiny Raid encounter as a D&D encounter.  There is A LOT of tweaking on the fly needed to run this successfully for your party.  But hopefully the guide at least gives some ideas of how to get started setting it up.  Finally, because I really wanted to set the Destiny Raid encounter vibe to my players (many of whom I played a lot of Destiny with over the years), there is the chime sound that rings out when the oracles appear - taken from a Destiny walkthrough video.  The audio isn't the best, but it achieves the effect well enough.

The rest of the file setup is the same as my other posts. The zip files below have the Vault of Glass maps and extras described above. Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px.
