AOT Rays Of Heaven Ch 14 : Back Again

Before starting I want to say that I am changing to 3rd person POV as writing two fics with 3rd POV and first-person POV is throwing me off every day and making many mistakes because of this.

Anyway converting to 3rd POV from here and hope you guys like it.

Ray stood in the familiar forest, the teleportation leaving him disoriented for a moment. As he looked around, the towering trees and dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves seemed unchanged. It was as if no time had passed at all since he had left Shigashina district.

"I'm really back," Ray was wide mouth, he remembered falling asleep the last moment he was in the avatar world.

"This is crazy,".

The memories of the day spent with Aang, Sokka, and Katara lingered in Ray's mind like a dream. The vibrant landscapes of the Avatar world and the bending of elements were almost unreal. Although he knows that he is still in a fantasy world where Titan roams the thing is that he hasn't come across any right now, while on the other hand, he has personally seen Water, Air and Fire bending in the avatar world.

However, as Ray glanced at his surroundings, he realized he was back in Shigashina, his temporary adventure concluding with the same forest as its starting point.

The bustling sounds of the district gradually reached his ears, replacing the serene quiet of the mystical world he had just left. Ray couldn't help but marvel at the seamless transition between the fantastical and the familiar. It was as though the system had crafted a pocket of time, allowing him to venture into another realm without altering the course of events in Shigashina.

As he made his way through the district, Ray couldn't shake the surreal feeling of having travelled to a different reality and back in the blink of an eye. The memories of bending and laughing with Aang, Sokka, and Katara were fresh (Especially Katara), yet the clock in Shigashina seemed to have stood still.

"Interesting" Rai muttered and then said Status.

"Damn," Ray almost whistled as he saw his own stats. He is level 10 now. But the little bump in stats was not as shocking as his skills.

He learns both air bending and water bending from both Aang and Katara. At least the basics of it. Although he couldn't do much in terms of bending he knew that he was capable of it.

He could feel the connection, even making him surprised as he was not expecting that he would be able to bend two elements. The reason he asked to learn about bending from Aang and Katara is becuase he didn't know which element he would be associated with.

Ray slowly makes his way towards home. He was not that late, no time almost passed when he was in the other world, or dungeon to be exact.

And now after thinking, he remembered the system told him that it was Shigashina Dungeon, meaning it's possible for the other areas like within the wall to have other dungeons and they may or may not connect with other worlds.

Ray's eyes almost lit up. As he returned back to the house, Mikasa was again beside her like a cuddly kitten.

But he was more interested in the Avatar world. And even more than that, he understood one thing, that he could capitalise on this time-stopping thing.

He still needs to see how this works but this can help him train more.

And with that thing in mind, Ray slept. Planning to go back to the Avatar world tomorrow.

The door will again open tomorrow as per the system and he was eager. It is a really good place to grind.
