[Game-Dev] Gargoyle Game Update

Yesterday I continued working on the gargoyle game project, and worked on the camera flash mechanic. I decided to set this game in the early 2000s, and the player has one of those crappy disposable cameras that have to recharge after every flash. You'll have to conserve your shots to drive them back, as it'll take a while to ready for another counter-assault.

As part of the aesthetic, I made the angle of the flash star and angles and drift of the flash-lit droplets in the air randomized, so each flash visually looks slightly different.

One of the things I also added is a "failed flash" mechanic. If the shutter button is snapped before the flash has a chance to fully recharge, a puny flash will be shot out (basically doing nothing to the gargoyle babes). Waiting for the flash to recharge after a failed flash should teach players not to just spam the shutter while the camera is recharging. 😈
