So, I don’t know if you caught this but in an earlier episode. Kouhei’s grandpa actually mentioned that his mom didn’t die and he just didn’t have the heart to tell him that she really did leave him. So, Kouhei thinks his mom is dead while she’s actually still out there. And Hazuki thinks her mom is alive when she’s actually dead. Just an interesting parallel there.
