The Motel - Behind the scenes

Cumona Beach’s very own motel.

Made specifically for version 0.5, but might be revisited in future updates.

Many objects in this scene are reused from other scenes, such as the training facility. The motel lobby borrows almost every piece of furniture from there.

It’s made in blender and all comes down to around 250k faces/polygons, which is fairly low poly and easy to work with. But I still ended up separating the room from the rest of the scene and into its own file, all to keep the performance as high as possible. The room’s file became so lightweight that there were no problems rendering 3 characters at the same time, which can often be a struggle in bigger scenes. (For example, the pool scenes with 5 characters usually take 3 separate renders, 1: background, 2: two characters, and 3: three characters.)
