Poll: #111

**** VOTE FOR ALL YOU WOULD WATCH A REACTION TO!! ****

I may watch more than top choice if others get lots of votes! Movies not chosen doesn't mean they will never be watched. They are still on my to-watch list so make sure you go upvote them on MOVIE REQUEST SITE

Last week was a mix of 60's-70's. This week it's 30's-50's👍

I keep missing these.. Maltese Falcon or anything with Humphrey Bogart.

Timo Turunen

You could do a Hitch every week I wouldn't argue

Richard Powers Hardt

Right? One of the greatest movies ever made and nobody watches it. Insane.

Patrick Turman

The more Hitchcock, the better.

Lee

Orson Welles, Humphrey Bogart, or Alfred Hitchcock? Who will win...? I'm up for all three... and I hope they all get seen at some point😀. It's the actual "Citizen Kane of movies..."

Christian Rennie

Love this list. Pay no attention to Kane naysayers. Who’s to say what film is the best ever made… but Kane is the best film ever to assign that absurd claim… because it’s certainly the most audacious… Welles was virtually a kid. His performance of aging is absolutely unmatched… and contrary to how it’s often framed… it’s wildly fun to watch… every shot, packed with visionary ideas, is showing off the love of its own craft and screaming to other filmmakers: catch up with me on the roller coaster! A little trivia: Kane production borrowed rear projection backgrounds that had been used for King Kong and at one point you can clearly see a Pterodactylus fly by.

Jeff Preiss

"On the Waterfront" being *that* far behind just depresses me. Even with one of the most iconic lines in movie history, it still gets virtually no love among reactors (I've only seen Cami from Popcorn Roulette do it on her solo channel, LET'S TUNE IN). 😔

A lot depends on how much you know about the Hearst empire and the history of those times. It is an expose' of the effects of hubris on the human psyche. Also a lot of the techniques used in the movie were brand new and had never been used before. There is a reason they study it in film school.

Allen Porter

YAY! A classic selection.

Allen Porter

Citizen Kane is so overrated, its popular in film school.

zynjams

A whole bunch of classics! I've seen all of them, but it's been years.

Gary Cameron

This might be the first time I ever voted for 90% of a poll.
