World War Z (2013) Full Length Reaction

** Watched the Unrated version with runtime 2:03:03 **

This one had some unexpected things for a zombie movie so I thought it was interesting! Definitely not as much gore as I was expecting -- would we even call this a horror movie? What do you guys think - action, horror, thriller, disaster?! Lol!

I love this movie, great reaction too, it's just too bad the sequel was cancelled. The book should actually be done as a limited series.

One of the best pandemic/ apocalyptic pieces of media I've ever seen is the miniseries "STATION ELEVEN" highly recommend it

I have watched so many zombie movies over the last 40 years that for a time, I seriously convinced myself a zombie apocalypse was inevitable like any ol’ natural disaster 🤣

Exciting, tense reaction. 🙂👍 The scene at the start where the chaos is happening on the streets/roads was filmed at George Square in Glasgow, Scotland. I saw this in the cinema in 2013, it's okay. I believe fans of the source material weren't too impressed. 28 Days Later is a better film and it's genuinely frightening. I'd bring two blankets. +1 for 28 Days Later +1 for The Walking Dead

The movie sucked, at leat for people who read the novel before the movie came out. Read the book, it's a millions times better. The movie and book are nothing alike. The movie was bereft of gore because the studio wanted a PG-13 rating. The Max Brooks novel--he also wrote the Zombie survial guide--is brilliant, and depicts vibrantly the military's effort to stop the Zombie horde. The "Battle of Yonkers"--not in the movie--is widely acclaimed as one of the best portrayals of a miitary trying to stop Zombie masses. At some point, you may want to consider reacting to TWD. The first several seaons are exceptional---but, like also series that tryin to outlive lifepsan, eventually collapses into mediocrity.
