Also I was listening to Queen and thinking about how they did the Highlander score and I remembered you guys told me Queen did the score for Flash Gordon too, so I want to check it out! We'll also finally finish off the Cornetto trilogy with The World's End! I'm excited!
I'm havin such a blast watching stuff here with you guys lately 😆 Thanks for making this an awesome community, posting neat facts and trivia (which I love to read!) and being very cool about posting no spoilers (always appreciated)!
Does it feel like winter will never end for anyone else?! Nothing but endless snow here and more to come all week! Very glad I can stay cozy inside and have some awesome stuff to watch ☺️

A classic from its time like FG, and one of the author’s favourites too, if you and the patrons are so inclined. Not scary - but riveting. Plus to boot, not too many reactions on YT I think. Also one of Christopher Walken’s best performances imho

They were my fave band for a good few years, I know them well. Didn't get to see them though, too young. But I was lucky enough to go to the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in London, 1992. 🥳 Spinal Tap guested for a single song. The band Extreme were there ♥ and many others. I'm looking forward to all of your reactions. Flash Gordon, I image was fun for you. The casting and costume work for Ming the Merciless was impressive. Especially if you take a peek at the old black and white serial from the late 1930s/early 40s. They got Max Von Sydow to look exactly the same as the old actor, Charles Middleton. You have seen Sydow as Father Marin in The Exorcist, the Bond villain Blofeld in Never Say Never Again and King Osric in Conan the Barbarian. I just found out he was the voice of Vigo the Carpathian in Ghostbusters II, but uncredited.
