At night whenever I heard the Canadian anthem playing on CBC i knew when to shut off the TV. Static TV still sends a little shiver up my spine. Great reaction Jen. Looking forward to your reaction to 'The Void'.

2024-10-23 02:58:13 +0000 UTCThere's so many conflicting reports about what happened on set. It is at worst co-directed by Hooper and Spielberg or it's Hooper as director and Spielberg as an active producer. I tend to think the latter. It's obviously also Spielberg coded as he co-wrote it.

2024-10-22 18:16:50 +0000 UTCI had somehow gone my whole life without seeing this until last Halloween season when I watched it for the first time. I was shocked by how many thing reference this movie. It's weird that Spielberg doesn't get credit for directing this despite being on scene every day because the rules of the Director's Guild didn't allow a director to make more than one movie at a time back then. In so many ways this feels about as Spielberg-ery as any movie possibly could. Jen - Once again, thanks for putting yourself through these for the channel, I hope you enjoy them on some level.
