Great eps / reactions. The character in 'The Stranded' who invited himself around to Jerry's without calling.. was played by actor Michael Chiklis. Around 10 years after this Seinfeld ep he was cast in the main cop role in a show called 'The Shield' (2002- 2008). The *best* police action/procedural show ever. It's incredibly gritty, dark, tension is often off the scale, pretty brutal often. Chiklis plays an anti-hero detective who makes Denzil Washington in Training Day look like a boy scout. Can't recommend this show enough. Outstanding ensemble acting throughout. 7 seasons, each one more intense than the last and an unforgettable finale. Re your question about who writes Seinfeld. I believe the Larry David was the head writer on the show with Seinfeld having the 2nd biggest input. You're going to love Curb.. so much, it's painfully funny. And be wowed by all the big stars that guest appear.
