For those of you wondering about the cut I mentioned on my forehead-- still clearly visible in real life but a friend told me about the "skin smoothing feature" on my camera (set to the absolute max) so you can't even see it on camera! Woo hoo technology!

I have to add something I forgot to mention: if you want a whole TV series to react to, that's in this genre, you should consider Fringe. If you're familiar with The X-Files, then I think it's safe to say that Fringe is like X-files on crack and shrooms. In fact, one of the main character's fixation for mind-expanding drugs figures heavily into some episodes.
