Hello, Sir Hairless, thank you very much for this! 🙏🤗🙏 I love checking your updates of this list of songs, which always makes me feel like a kid opening a gift box full of new exciting toys to play with 🎁 :) There are so much new music I didn’t know there, and the songs you’ve chosen to begin and to finish this update kind of broke me inside a little bit… ‘Save your Tears’ is one of my favorite tracks from The Weeknd’s album ‘After Hours’ (together with ‘Until I Bleed Out’), and relistening to this song now transported me directly to those trying moments from the very beginning of the lockdown in 2020, when this album was released and I listened to it on repeat… Wow, it’s amazing how a single piece of music can hold so many complex layers of feelings based on our memories! And finishing your list with the hypnotizing ‘God Turn me Into a Flower’ was the most perfect cherry on top of everything: it’s a new song to me that will be certainly revisited many times during moments of deep introspection 🎶 After I finished listening to your list, my current state of mind kept hovering amidst other songs conveying some sort of introspective search of fulfilling way/companionship/place in life (which we might call ‘home’)👀... and the first song that came into my mind was ‘Little Blue” by Jacob Collier (the wonderful version performed in 2023 for Mahogany Sessions) … however, I restrained myself from suggesting it to you as a private listen because you either already know it or may want to save it for a possible future reaction (if applicable, that’d surely deserve your analytical and emotional appreciation in a reaction video👌). Since you always share with us so many nice songs from your playlists, I’ll try to reciprocate it with the following two songs by some Swedish artists I like (they are not popular candidates in the world of reactions), so that you can freely listen to them by yourself if you are interested – the choice was based on inspiration taken from the contrasting shades of light and darkness in our paths when looking for a gratifying ‘place/companionship/way of living’ in this world: > For some lovely light feel: ‘The Spirit Song, A Nordic Lullaby’ by Jonna Jinton (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpmeswMK7cY) > For some lovely-ish (?) dark feel: ‘Tower, Piano Version’ by Avatar (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaCEBhM35x8) Also, the glorious performance of ‘Agnus Dei’ by The King’s Singers brought to my mind the intro/short opening of a legendary concept album from the Brazilian heavy metal scene (I guess your recent and amazing reaction to Stravaganzza also collaborated to bring this album to the surface of my mind) – here is the link in case you’re interested to listen to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW-F6Ri3feg&list=OLAK5uy_kPd0sUOZ_aiVfrD16g_Mx1lVBssK8RIso Finally, I’ll leave below a little quote by the Haiku Master, regarding those general subjects that your list of songs somehow impelled my mind to navigate into: “The journey itself is my home.” (Matsuo Bashō)
