Lovely reaction, Jen! "The Stars My Destination" (1956) (alternatively titled "Tiger! Tiger") is a classic science fiction novel by Alfred Bester. It is loosely based on "The Count of Monte Cristo". Highly recommended. I read the first book before I saw this season of the series, and then I read the other two books. I agree that the season finale works just fine. It is, IMO, a perfect setup for the later seasons. I shall give no spoilers, but I will say (1) I'm glad you're thinking hard about the joke Ye Winjie told Saul. (2) They made a point of showing us two books she was reading before telling that joke. (3) They showed us the book of fairy tales Jin gave Will *three* different times. (4) Of the three wallfacers, there was an assassination attempt (actually two) against only one of them, and, as you pointed out, it happened before even Saul was told that he was selected.

Fin your last 4 eps now, wow! 3 Body Problem S1 was mind-blowingly good! Amazing concepts! πŸ’œ What a treat to have went through it all in just 3 weekends. Can't wait for S2 + S3, which is pretty much a sure thing. I'm sure it'd bring you lots of new YouTube viewers / subs. But how will such a complex story fare after editing. (you asked in the video) Please do check out Rick & Morty sometime! πŸ˜ƒ It's thrilling, exciting, wonderfully imaginative, even touching sometimes and very darkly comical / hilarious. It's Back To The Future meets Futurama. On steroids and LSD.
