So thrilled to revisit this one and loved you liked it. Kurt Russell is in Soldier, which I also think you'd like (there's a theory that it's in the Blade Runner universe). Starman is a John Carpenter (frequent Kurt Russell director) movie with Jeff Bridges which you would also probably like. And as has been mentioned, Enemy Mine stars Randy Quaid and Louis Gossett as an alien quite like Grigg in this movie. And, hell, you'd probably like that one as well. All three would make great reactions. Also, Robert Preston is famous for "the Music Man". Seeing how much you love scores, you should check it out, it's an adorable romp. Perhaps you could start a playlist just for musicals?
