We're getting the band back together! Finally checking out The Blues Bros, one of the most requested movies since I started the channel! I can see why it's a comedy classic. Loved all the musical guests stars, Carrie Fisher's hilarious sub-plot and the wacky ending!! Remember-- if you need an excuse to get out of something, blame locusts ππ

2024-02-20 02:31:31 +0000 UTCThe guy at the prison who returned Jake's personal items was played by Frank Oz, one of the co-founders (w/ Jim Henson) of the Muppets. He was the original puppeteer and voice of dozens of the most popular Muppets in their early appearances and on The Muppet Show and on Sesame Street. He performed and voices Yoda in Empire Strikes Back and continued voicing the CGI character in the Star Wars universe all the way through The Last Jedi when Rian Johnson decided to bring back Yoda as a puppet. The leader of the Illinois Nazis was played by Henry Gibson. Gibson was well known as a cast member on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, a late 1960s prime-time counter-culture sketch comedy hour on NBC that was the precursor to Saturday Night Live.
