These are all movies from my HUGE list that I personally would like to see. These polls help me narrow down my own choices from a list of hundreds so thanks for your help!
Movies not chosen may be back on future polls or watched later in schedule. Keep in mind I post 3 movies every week so I try to balance poll choices with what is already on the schedule for the coming week so the result is a nice mix :)

Directed by one of the most (internationally) successful German filmmakers, Wolfgang Petersen, and starring some of the finest actors' ensemble, it gives you an intense, subtle and stunning impression of the German soldiers and officers' view on WWII in a claustrophobic situation. Excellent filmmaking and writing. Being Swiss, and speaking Swiss German, the spoken language makes everything a bit more intense of course. But nevertheless, it's a must if you're interested in the WWII era anyway..
