πTNG Update
Added 2023-10-23 01:09:39 +0000 UTCOk so I've made an executive decision! I'm going to watch all episodes of TNG Seasons 1-2 here on Patreon + then probably bring a Top 10 to YouTube at some point.
I know some of you guys really dislike the first 2 seasons (or lots of the eps) but I want to be able to participate in all the Trek discussions, knowing the good + the bad.
As well, I know the Top 10's were my idea, but I realized if I could re-do my watch of The Original Series, I wish I'd watched it all because there are still lots of things I miss in discussions + because even low points in seasons help you appreciate the high points more.
I'll try to do multiple episodes per week (schedule permitting) so it doesn't take a crazy amount of time to get through them. Of course, still doing 3 movies every week too!
Posting tonight - 1 more episode of Original Series and 4 more episodes of TNG!

I just subscribed from your YouTube vids. I don't know where the hate for Seasons 1 & 2 started. Growing up, my friends and I watched TNG from the start and looked forward to talking about it every week. It's some of the most optimistic and closest to the original series in terms of stories and tone. Season 3 on is great, but there's some retcons and the tone of show changes a bit. Sometimes enough they could be considered different universe. I'm about to dive in to your full vids. I hope you enjoy the journey!

We vote after every season of a tv show here on Patreon to see if we continue or take a break + watch something else for a while. I go with whatever most people want to do π That being said, I love Star Trek! I'm down to watch if you guys want to!

2023-10-26 17:36:21 +0000 UTCBest executive decision you could have ever made. I'm confused about what that means for the rest of the series however? Why watch every episode of the first two seasons, and then just stop there before most of the amazing and timeless episodes even happen? To be clear at what I'm getting at: I think you should make a further executive decision and go ahead and say that you will watch all 178 episodes of the show, in due time. I think literally 95% of us on Patreon here would literally be completely over the moon if you decided to watch all of The Next Generation. I mean it's worth it, even if it takes time.
