Winner of the poll last week, this one was a lot more emotional than I thought it would be. Tom Hanks was mesmerizing and his transformation during this movie is really something else. Beautiful, bittersweet, and in the end hopeful.

2023-09-07 22:49:01 +0000 UTCHi Jen. You should definitely check out Flight (2012); it's also directed by Robert Zemeckis, it involves a plane crash and, just like Cast Away, deals with how that that plane crash impacts the life of the protagonist, who in this case is Denzel Washington.
