Correction: apparently the run time is just a few minutes more than the theatrical. but it feels shorter! A sure sign of Wise's honing of the material he felt he left "unfinished" in 1979.

2023-08-17 00:28:46 +0000 UTCI do think ST: TMP is a flawed film, but for me it is still enjoyable. The Director's Cut is superior to the theatrical cut (and actually has a shorter running time) though I'm not sure how readily available it is.
