Remember Thinking that guy would make a great Bond in his scene with Ming's daughter calling her a lying bitch. Move 5 years later and they announce him as Bond on Entertainment Tonight..I thought it was supposed to be Brosnan and had no idea who it was..then I grabbed my Flash Gordon Album and looked at the picture sleeve & freaked out it was the guy I wanted.

I cannot wait for the next two Bond movies. I always liked the Timothy Dalton era. It was the first time that Bond felt vulnerable to me since his wife dying in On Her Majesties Secret Service. But I am also bias because I loved the Flash Gordon movie as a kid. I saw it in the theater and probably a hundred times on video, and Prince Barin, played by Timothy Dalton, was always my favorite character.

Thanks for keeping the show going on! I could have waited a week, but still good to know that we remain on schedule. 'M' would be proud! Jen provides the most interesting, intelligent, and positive insight into these films which I have watched too many times, alas. I greatly appreciate getting a new perspective on these films, and fully relieved to Jen (and a couple other "younger" watchalong hosts) appreciate the Roger Moore Bonds. He was one of those Hollywood stars that exuded class yet maintained a certain amount of humility. I'm not sure if it is my middle-age prejudice for Hollywood of last Century, or if following generations have abandoned some of ethical values that were highly regarded in the past.
