2022-03-09 02:47:57 +0000 UTCWell done - if it is any consolation, from my point of view, it is hard to think of a film that grabs you by the throat from the very beginning and then terrorises you until the last frame in such a way as this does. It really is a horror masterpiece in many, many ways - an argument can be made for it being THE horror masterpiece - but an unfortunate side effect of that is, of course, the fact that as such it scares the absolute shit out of you. However, again, the upside of that is that once you've seen The Shining, there's not going to be a lot that gets under your skin and haunts your dreams any more ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐คโ๐ฉ๐ผ (You'll never be able to look at twins the same way again either but hey, welcome to the club)
