The Storm Matriarch is ready! The third of four... they're almost ready to be unleashed.

We're so close to completing this line of models! It was super cool to work on this one too...
Let's start with the base. We wanted to create a model that was very in the middle of it's power use. The Lady of the Wave was close to this, but a more stylistic piece, and the Lava Goddess was an 'emerging' pose. For this one, you can imagine that there's a target and the base is going somewhere. It's a really cool tempest and creates a great frame for the overall piece.
The model itself was highly inspired by Aztec motifs. The mask is straight out of the Mesoamerican symbolism and heraldry, with some inspiration from similar fantasy interpretations. That was really exciting to differentiate the model from the two we'd done before.
With the contrast between base and model, this is going to look like amazing with the paint contrast between base, model and effects in the hands of the right painter!

The final model for the line will be the Earth God which we are already had at work on. Having him round out the collection is going to be an amazing ending to this project!
