Monday Update #33 | New content and Motivation

The next update, 0.3.1 will be released in about two weeks. Right now I am progressing quite well, but there is also much to do.

Everything new:

New backgrounds for the forest.
New items and animations for them.
A whole lot of new quests and dialogue.
The first scene has been animated.
Slight changes to the UI to make a few buttons more consistent.
A bunch of new assets to be used in the next and future updates.
The new basebuilding system is finished. Both UI and code.
The new skill system is also finished. Both UI and code.

The current progress is about 70% of this updates raw content. But I still need to piece everything together and make sure it works and makes sense. I am going to take my time for this, I want to make sure everything is good. Especially because I had a few motivational problems these last weeks. Nothing major, I just needed a little bit of time away from the game. My worktimes where slightly shorter and I did more 3D work to improve my skills without beeing directly related to the game itself. Just to get a bit of ceative freedom for some time.

From time to time I need a moment like that, but you can be assured. That won't mean I put out less content. V0.3.1 will be on the larger side of my usual updates and I am confident that it will be a good and important one.
