Sorry, I'm a little late for the party. I don't know if you've heard it by now, but between Mels, Eloras, Jayces, Ekkos and Heimerdingers disappearance and Caitlyn breaking up with Vi and Jayces return and the reunion of the sisters roughly six month went by. That's what Caitlyn meant with "It's been going on for so long..." Caitlyn didn't land in bed with Maddie right away, who was (unfortunately for her) just a rebound to get over Vi. An unsuccessful attempt. Vi tried the same with drinking and beating people up. Also unsuccessfully. 😅😍
