One-Shot: Blades in the Dark - March 25, 2022

I (Stephen) am going to be running a one-shot on March 25th but first I need a few players - which is where you come in. This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $10 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $5 patrons (11th), a few days later to our $1 patrons (15th), and then it will be open to anyone on our Discord (18th). I have room for 6 players in the one-shot. If you are in one of the lower tiers, feel free to message me beforehand and I'll add you to the waiting list.

Time: March 25, 2022 [20220325] 6pm EST to about 9pm EST [11pm UTC to about 2am UTC]

The adventure: We will be playing Blades in the Dark where you play as daring scoundrels building a criminal enterprise on the haunted streets of an industrial-fantasy city. The job for this week is to rob an electro-rail train in the Gaddoc Rail Station.

You're in a haunted Victorian-era city trapped inside a wall of lightning powered by demon blood.

For character generation:

- Characters are made using the Blades in the Dark ruleset

- I will have pregenerated characters as I assume that many have not gotten a chance to play this game. If you have played before, you are welcome to make your own character.

- No disruptive characters. This game is based on narrative storytelling with the players being just as involved as the GM in creating the game. The main character of this game is not the individual characters, but the gang/crew that your characters represent.

Before the game:

- Send me your character sheet (or I'll send you a pre-gen before the game if you so wish)

- Set up an account on Roll20

Helpful tips:

- I'm going to assume that most who join this game will have never played Bladies in the Dark or a Powered by the Apocalypse game system. I will explain the rules as we go (there aren't that many) but you are free to look over the free rules here: https://bladesinthedark.com/downloads

- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.
